Access denied error for Benefits Enrollment, new employee
Context
- This article provides information for new, benefits-eligible employees, enrolling in benefits within the 30 day new-hire period.

Troubleshooting Steps
- Check that 24 hours have passed since creation of your Kerberos account.
- Check that your status in Atlas is as a benefits-eligible employee. A departmental administrator will be able to assist.

- Are you able to access the W4 and Direct Deposit screens? If so, but you continue to receive an access denied error for benefits enrollment, contact the Benefits office at benefits@mit.edu or call 617-253-6151.
