Access denied error message for View Your Benefits link
This article provides information for MIT employees who are attempting to view their benefits, and receive an error

Troubleshooting Tips
- Check that your username is displaying properly in the error message. If so, this indicates that your MIT personal certificate is working properly.
- Access to online enrollment for MIT benefits takes up to 48 hours after the Kerberos account has been created. If your Kerberos account has been recently created, this may be the reason for the access denied error message.
- Postdoctoral fellows will not be able to view their benefits online. If you would like information about your benefits, send email to benefits@mit.edu and they will be able to provide a printed summary.
- If you are on a leave of absence, this may impact your ability to view your benefits online. If your benefits are still active, contact benefits@mit.edu, and they will be able to provide a printed summary.
