Why did I receive email telling me I completed a course I took months ago?

Answer

During our recent upgrade of the MIT Learning Center, we made a change to the process that feeds course completion data from the CITI training system to our on-campus system.  This change resulted in confirmation email being sent to everyone who has taken one of the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) courses since last Fall 2010.  This is all part of our ongoing effort to consolidate all training records for our learners into one place.  People who take the RCR training from now on will receive the confirmation email with 24 hours of taking the class, but we had to clear the backlog of historical records as part of our initial data upload.
