Will the IS&T Service Center install / use 3rd party parts on a repair?

Answer

• The Service Center technicians will only install official replacement parts from a vendor. If a client purchases a Dell LCD from Ebay, we can install it (without a warranty or guarantee that it works). However if the client brings in some off-brand "compatible" part, the technicians won't install it.
