Q: I need to be authorized to use SAP or Atlas. What must I do?

Authorizations for SAP or Atlas are maintained via the Roles Database. There are financial administrators in each department, lab or center (sometimes known as Financial Primary Authorizers) who can add authorizations as needed, or request that authorizations be added for you. If you have trouble identifying the Financial Primary Authorizer for your area, the Help Desk you wish to use for purchasing or reporting. Once the authorizations have been added to Roles, they will be available in SAP on the following day.
