Change Benefit Elections for Next Year - Overview

All the benefit plans you are currently enrolled in and the ones you are eligible for in the coming year are displayed on this page. You can enroll in new plans or change existing ones for the coming year. In addition, please review which dependents are enrolled in each plan and make appropriate updates.

Note: You can change your selections as often as you wish during the Open Enrollment period. The system will record your changes at the end of the business day on the final day of Open Enrollment. See MIT Employment Benefits: Open Enrollment for the date and time on which the Open Enrollment period ends.

Important: Do not click Submit Enrollment every time you enroll in or change a plan. Click Submit Enrollment only after you have finished all your selections.

1. Click the plan name or the Change button (pencil) to the left of the plan. You go to the "Enroll in a Plan" page.
   Tip: You can use the Undo button (arrow) to undo the most recent change you made to your benefit plan during this session.
2. To cancel your existing coverage for the upcoming year, click the plan name. You go to the "Enroll in a Plan" page. Check the Cancel all coverage checkbox at the top of page.
3. After you finish enrolling in all your plans, click Submit Enrollment or click Back to cancel your benefit elections and return to the "Create a Record for Family Members: Overview" page.
